You were hurt by something somebody said after they labled you and talk about the area the labled you in but it's not directed at you?
Or somebody says something bad about your race or beliefs but you two are good friends and they didn't know that they were saying something rude to you, too?
Please, i'd like to know what all of you think.

I reccently had a friend that made cracks at people on food stamps. Although I am not using them, my mom did for us as kids. She was a single mom trying to juggle work and school and had very little money. She really struggled with getting them, and decided she had to when we only had crackers and cheese for dinner one night. It is disgraceful to say negative remarks about anyone, any race, any situation that could hurt another person. I told this friend my story and explained that ignorance isn't an excuse, compassion and open-mindedness are the keys to a happy existence.

One of my friends back in highschool was on a project with some classmates. My friend is 1/2 native american and 1/2 mexican. She is a VERY talented photographer. The thing with her though, is she and I have the same skin tone ( for the most part I am caucation)
The whole time My friend and her classmate were taking pictures, the other girl went off on how racist she was, and how she thought all mexicans should serve her and other americans, or just go back to mexico.
The most f^cked up part about it was the whole time the other girl knew my friend was mexican. And she still bashed mexicans. When they got back to the school my friend told me EVERYTHING she had said, ( I was VERY opinionated in school, and a lot of teachers respected me for that) We went to some of the teachers at the school, and she almost got arrested for a hate crime.
Even MORE f^cked up, a week later me and my boyfriend went to go play some basketball with some friends, and she was there, for how racist she ws, she contradicted herself when she threw herself at my half mexican boyfriend.

My mother used to tell me, they badmouthed Jesus and He was perfect. They threw stones at Him and Crucified Him for their own sins. Jesus said to turn the other cheek, and that is how I live my life. I know who I am, where I stand with Jesus, and where I want to be at the end of this cycle of my life. Only God can judge me. Forget the slings and arrows of one who is but mere flesh and blood like me, for I shall not collapse as long as my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ is at my side.
