That's easy. When a couple hugs, the man puts his hands on the womans hips or all the way in her lower back and naughty ones go further down. Friends embrace, either grabbing the upper arms or a full squeeze around the middle back.

a couple's hug is longer its more like a hold and hands can be anywhere when you hug a friend its not as long unless something bad has happened thats what i would say

Well, when i hug my boyfriend i tend to grab his rear end and kiss his neck and when i hug my friends i usually just put my hands on thier back and then kiss them on the cheek.
