My tribe was invited to attend a meal with the new settlers. I was a little shy of these foreigners, so started to sit down beside my brother, when a woman said no,,, "lets sit , Pilgrim, Indian, Pilgrim, Ind,,,". I was served something orange and sweet, it was called pumpkin, ive never tasted anything like it before, i said to myself. When it was time to carve the meat, i told my brother"how about putting down the tomahawk! Behave".
I was served something that made my head spin, they called it Rum, this is amazing i thought. No one died at the meeting, and i said to my mother "this calls for a prayer of gratitude". After a long day, and long trip home, with brother stumbling from drinking to much of the Rum juice, we walked in our teepee and said "home at last". the end
