What could men do to be better communicators with women? What would an ideal conversation be like?

a wise teacher of mine said "women need constant feedback "... but for that a man has to actually listen to what a woman is saying, even if they do not always go for the short version :)...
an ideal conversation... in a formal (professional) setting never forget to be polite (i tend to say extremely polite) to a woman... in fact, always be a gentleman ... and it wouldn't hurt u all sometimes to try to say exactly what u feel and not to send us off with 2 word replies ...and when u don't understand something ask... and for under no situation assume rather then clarify...

I would like men to communicate with me the same way they would to another man. So long as they didn't want to discuss sports, their cars, and other boring stuff. In other words, treat me like an intelligent equal (or superior.)

It has taken me over 40 years to finally understand their so called communication skills.
I wouldn't throw a monkey wrench in the works now.

They would truly listen and not try to fix things. Unless it was a problem between the two of us.

they could learn to listen and let women talk first...then if they need to say anything, say it in a respectful and empowering way...

They would probably want us to babble and yap about nothing for extremely long periods of time about nothing...bitching and complaining about everything would also be a bonus.
