My doctor told me because of my bone size, that i couldn't be ever smaller than a size 12? Is that the truth or was he just making something up?

Yes, your Dr is telling you the truth. You must be 'big-boned', which has nothing to do with your weight. It simply means that your frame is large, as opposed to small-boned people who are more delicate.

Yes, he was telling the truth. Our society has come to idolize tiny waists and bodies, but the fact is that what is healthy for someone depends on other factors..... including bone size.

A lot of Hollywood stars and models are unhealthy because they starve themselves to maintain their small size.

Go with your doctor's health charts and recommendations for the best healthy size for yourself. If it's size 12, then it's size 12. A healthy woman is always attractive.

Best Wishes,

Sue

You'd look really funny with a large bone structure and only being a size 4. Yes, your doctor is telling you the truth.

There is nothing wrong with being a size 12. It's not fat, it's healthy. Now, if you are a 16 or bigger....then you need to get the extra weight off.

Yes, bone structure tells you what your body wants to be like. 12 may not be the right size, how tall are you and how much do you weight? You can look at one of the new BMI charts, they show optimal weights for height and can be adjusted for bone size.

Yes. I am not sure if he was right about the exact size, but he was right. My aunt is size 14, and she used to be a marathon runner, and is still very muscular. She still has very well-defined abs at the age of 58 and amazing legs, but she has big shoulders and hip bones, so she's size 14.

be Well if you are not over weight then the size you are is the size you should be for your bone structure, be happy with yourself and glad that you are not fat or skinny both of which create health problems and shorten life
