Of course, we LOVE MOST of our relatives; but, some of them are only related to us by BLOOD! Realistically, they can be mean, argumentative, negative, etc. Do you have one? Someone told me once, 'We spend our holidays with people we spent ALL YEAR trying to AVOID!'.. HAHA.

My sisters in law - the oldest one is 38 and married with 2 girls, who are hopelessly spoiled. I don't like seeing her because while she's nice, she seems to always have an ulterior motive and she thinks the world revolves around her. The other one is younger - 35 and not married. She is extremely moody and bases everything around her period - yes, her period - I did say that. She will actually say she's got it in a room full of people, including guys. It rules her life - she does things or avoids things based on her time of the month. Between the two of them, I just want to run and scream!!

Fortunately...I don't have that problem. I get along with both my parents, sister, and all of my aunts, uncles, and cousins. I feel blessed that there are no negativity...oh but wait....now that I think of it, there is one 15yr old cousin that I don't accept her behavior. I only see her when someone in the family invites us to a birthday party. She seems like a sweet person and funny at times. But what bothers me about her is the way she acts sometimes, when she wants "attention". She's always dressed in skimpy outfits that shows cleavage and her upper thighs or she'll wear hip huggers that'll show her but crack. Yes that bothers me. I mean she has a nice figure for her age...but I don't think she should be dressing up like that. What is the fashion world's problem? Can't they think how boys react when they see an underage girl dress up like a hoochy? It's a "family" reunion. I don't think she understands. What really bothers me is when she dances...she'll hump. What is that? Is that the "new" move for dancing? I look at how other family members react when we see her do that and they just laugh and say "Don't mind her, she's always been that way." They see I'm the only one not laughing and I give her dirty looks for dancing that way. I don't really know her very well to know if she's decent when she's home or how she is in school and with her friends. I don't want to hate her because I never hated anyone and I definately don't want her to be the first person I hate...if I ever hate. She's family. What can I do? Hug her when I say Hi and hug her when I say goobye to her. I guess I just have to look away whenever I see her dance. It's not serious, I don't hate her. I just feel uncomfortable when she's in the room. That's all. No big deal. It could've been worse.

My sister visits my parents on Xmas eve, therefore I don't go that day. My brother visits on Boxing Day, so basically I go on Xmas Day. I also have lots of other family members I do everything possible to avoid, not just during the holidays but throughout the entire year.

My sister because she always has to have everything her way or she throws a tantrum. Everything has to revolve around her schedule too. I have to make plans with two sets of in-laws and additional friends while she just has to make plans to show up. She is 28 and is bringing home a new boyfriend who will have just gotten out of jail for "abusing" his ex-girlfriend and mother of his child. The problem is, is that if I don't show up enough to my parents house my mom will be offended and accuse me of wanting to spend all my time with my mother-in-law and not sharing her grand-kids with her. I don't necessarily avoid my sister, I just don't like to be around her.

I don't get along with most of my relatives. They are very negative, downright mean people. It's hard to understand why. They are just obnoxious and it's not worth spending time with those kind of people... no matter if they're our blood.

My sister-n-law she would have to be at the top of my list. The reason is she thinks she knows everything. I say one thing and she says another. She is religious and she acts cold toward people. She has a cold heart. She is almost like the Grinch where it is hard to break down her exterior and warm her cold heart.

yah my evil aunt she hates me but i dont care because i hate her. But the only reason i hate her is because she constantly says mean things about people in my family and when i told my dad he had a talk with her about it but she just lied and sayed she didnt and started crying. so i got grounded for lying which was totally unfair.
