remove water-based paint from tile?
Thinner does not work because it is water-based.
Anybody had this problem before and successfully accomplished the removal of paint?
I would appreciate honest/serious answers please.

It's ceramic tile and I have tried to use the razor, the screwdriver , the kitchen knife, the aluminum ball, just about everything.

From vinyl tile or ceramic tile?

I screwed up and got paint all over my ceramic tile that I have as a backsplash behind my kitchen counters, and the only solution was to let it dry completely, then use a razor blade to scrape it off. If it's vinyl though, be careful not to actually cut the tile.

If it's thick paint, use the razor blade. If it's thin, just like an "oops", then try a Magic Eraser (i think Mr. Clean has a good one) and scrub it with that. That will pull it off.

It is ceramic means it is baked on. The best way to recycle
ceramic tile is to rebake it with a new gloss color selection.

You can get two products at Home Depot/Lowe's. They are "Goof Off" or "Goo Gone" Both will do the trick.
