I was on the pill and stopped taking it in September. My LMP was Sept 26, 2006. I have had unprotected sex with my soon-to-be husband. On November 10, I went to the doctor for a blood test afterseveral HPTs came back negitive. The blood test gave the same answer, negitive. My doctor told me that I could still be pregnant and the I should wait two to four weeks before testing again. Friday, November 24, will be two weeks, should I take another test or just wait a full week. I should have gotten a period on October 23 and then again on November 19. We have had unprotected sex since I went off the pill and wil continue to do so because we want a child in the near future.

Ive been 40 so days late from my period. But was never pregnant. It came to be that, my hormones were way out of wack. Im on Birth control pills on top of that. When did you get off your pills? That may be why your body isnt having its normal period. When you were on the pills it had periods every 4th week. Now coming off, your body isnt getting the hormones it had before telling it when to have a period. It could be that your body is confused.

If all tests read negative, and youre still without a period...something is wronge. You may have to have a shot of hormones by your Doctor, to get you back on track. Its not good to go long without a period. My friend had this same problem and went 4 months without a period, so she had a shot and that helped so much, and within days she was back on track.

Hope you find out whats going on. :-)

I went through this, too. Take the test on the 24th because the Dr. told you to. If you are not pregnant, you could have a problem with having regular ovulation, or it could be something more serious. If you go six months without a period, make the Dr. give you a pill that will give you a period because you may get an infection otherwise.

Since you're trying to have a child, do what my Dr. said to do -- every other day for six months, and check once a month if you're pregnant.

I went through this. For no reason that the doctor could find, I had no period for almost one year. She finally gave me pills that would start it so that I could go back on a normal schedule. All of my hormone levels were fine and everything else, there was just no reason. So, no you probably aren't pregnant. You may want to be so your body has decided to take over. I would head to the doctor again and see what else is going on. You never know. Good Luck!!

there are many reasons on why your not having your period besides pregnancy it could be an std it could be stress it could just take some time for your body to adjust to not being on the pill so i would just go and get a womans check up cause if youve taken alot of tests and all say negative then more than likley your not pregnant at this time.

you won't be in a position to get pregnant from a bathtub cutain. Sperm dies very promptly while out of the physique for a pair minutes. Are you suspecting that your brother ejaculated onto the bathe curtain? O_o additionally, the semen wouln't be waiting to get to the egg earlier it dies, they're very sluggish. talk on your mom, she ought to be waiting to help.
