This is for a research project. We're trying to come up with a list of currently popular, young male celebrities. Someone in his 20's, early 30's. A guy you can really admire. No jerks.
Recognizable and popular. Please don't suggest your dad, brother, God, etc.

Bono from U2 because of everything he is doing for the Global AIDS crisis.
(But I'm pretty sure he's over early 30's)
I used to respect Kanye West alot before he start getting "Super" full of himself and crying about every time he was not recognized.
I respect Leonardo DiCaprio's skills alot. He's showing range (variety of roles serious character development) as an actor. His last movies, especially Departed are very Oscar worthy, but he still seems humble and to love his craft. He's this generation's Al Pacino, Morgan Freeman, Robert DeNiro, Denzel Washington.

25 yr old female. For me to admire them, they have to prove themselves overtime, I don't go goo goo gaa gaa over every hot looking celeb...
Denzel Washington & Richard Gere - they are both great actors, and as big as they are, still level headed (at least for now, we'll see)... But I guess Gere is too old for your limit, not sure about Washington...
If not, then probably Matt Damon & Leonardo DiCaprio, they are the most versatile actors out there today, they don't get stuck with just one role...

I think the best actor of this generation could arguably be Leo Dicaprio (I can't believe I'm actually saying this). He has made very smart choices when selecting a role, and has quietly become superb at his craft.
He has my respect now.

Seriously, Dustin Hoffman because he's a class guy, a brilliant actor, and an upstanding citizen who's never in the news for any arrests, drugs, etc.
