I'm currently a running start student at a community college and I have to take a science course next quarter. Which science course is more interesting? Physics, Astronomy, Atmospheric science, Chemistry, Biology, or Geology? I really want to take a science course that is interesting to learn about and not too difficult.

I was required to take Biology I and II plus other science courses (Anatomy, Physiology, Physiology of Exercise, etc) and didn't REALLY enjoy having to memorize muscles, the human skeleton, etc. However, I recall that when my daughter's godmother took a Geology course in college, she really enjoyed it and started on a hobby that she's still involved in... (sheesh, well over 30 years now!); I can't remember what she does but she had samples of different rocks and she'd go on her little "expeditions" collecting stones and rocks and samples of things (she had rocks that contained fossils).

Go to the different departments and get information, not just the syllabus but the course descriptions, on Astronomy and Geology and speak with a couple of professors and find out which might be more interesting to YOU.

There's really no such thing as "easy" courses but, rather, boring and interesting and they depend on your personal interests. Physics? My little brainy cousin hated physics (even though she aced the classes she had to take before going into Med School) but I tend to believe she had boring professors; some of my old friends took Physics and they LOVED it! Go figure...

Good luck and best wishes.

I'd highly recommend Astronomy.
Astronomy courses designed for general science course requirements aren't that hard, are very interesting, and can be a lot of fun.
Any of them would be useful, but astronomy the most enjoyable in my opinion :)

Biology and Astronomy are the most interesting. If you like to study the planets, earth star and so on then you would like Astronomy. In Biology you learn about genetics, diseases, plant, human, and animal life.

I college you will ought to take technological expertise classes from Biology, Chemistry, Anatomy, and Physics. So a extreme college point of any of those classes should assist you out. My own recomendation could be a Chemistry and Anatomy. A biology will probable be a prerequisit for the Anatomy besides. however the anatomy class provides you with a stable insite into in spite of if or no longer you nevertheless choose for to be a vet, fairly in the experience that your college does disections. while i substitute into in extreme college I had the comparable dream, and went to between the best Vet college Universities for my undergraduate paintings. even if I rapidly found out after my first semester of chemistry and biology that it substitute into no longer for me. yet while it is your dream precise now, initiate with those bigger classes. it extremely is alot much less stressful to shrink later than to play seize up.
