everyone is very different...i only had 2 or 3 weeks of it, but i have a friend who is really close to having her baby and she's been sick every single day. if you read books regarding the subject, most tell you that morning sickness is most common during the first trimester and then often stops. just remember, it's completely different for every one!

Not all women experience morning sickness, and even if you do, not every pregnancy is the same either. But, however, if you are one of the many women who do suffer from "all-day" sickness, it starts at roughly 5-6 weeks and can last even up to 20 weeks. But it usually ends around 14 weeks, But hey you might be the lucky one not to get morning sickness!!!

If you are lucky, you'll never experience it. And that is very possible. All women, and all pregnancies are different. Even one woman can have different experiences each time. Just to give you my own personal experience though, I was fine the first month, then at the start of month two I started feeling queasy, sort of like being car sick. Then at the beginning of month three I was really feeling yucky all day and could barely eat. I never vomited but just felt sick and lethargic like I had the flu almost. Then at the end of month three it got better and by the beginning of month 5 I was pretty much great. Hope you don't have any but if you do, try ginger supplements in either capsule (powder form) or liquid. New Chapter (vitamin company) has two great ginger formulas. And start taking extra vitamin B6 right now. 50-100 mg is suggested to help keep morning sickness at bay. Good luck and congrats!

Most commonly within a couple of weeks of conception. And is can last throught the first trimester. It usually subsides after that, but it can return again in the last trimester. It is different for all women though. Some women have it all day long and for the whole 9 months..some don't have it at all. I have had 4 pregnancies. All were different. With the others, I was sick the first 3 months. with this one, i didn't throw up for the first time until last week and I am 33 weeks along!
Good luck and Congrats!

Morning Sickness is incorrectly named. Unfortunately it can occur any time of the day, including all day long and for 4-5 months. See your doctor if you are not gaining weight and just can't keep anything in your stomach. I had to take medicine for 4 months with my first pregnancy just to keep the food in my body. Unfortunately it didn't keep nausea away, but that was 19 years ago. I 'm sure they have better things to help now.
Most of all, hang in there and hang on to the words that helped me....This too, shall pass. After the sickness left, I felt better than ever. I pray the same for you. God bless you as you work hard bringing a new life to the world. Jewels

Morning sickness can happen anytime of the day. It happens mostly in early mornings and late evenings as its root cause is exhaustion from the energy needed to maintain the pregnancy. Some women have morning sickness every day of their pregnancy all the way to the last month and others never have it. It is different iwth every person.

Not all women will experience morning sickness and the timeline can vary. I didn't experience morning sickness until I was around 6 weeks pregnant. It went away when I was around 16-18 weeks along.

I had a terrible experience with my so called morning sickness...it didnot occur just during the morning but throughout and lasted me untill she came out. Keeping busy helped me a lot, I was a teacher, but as soon as I reached home I slumped on my bed and fell asleep. I even vomitted out bllod and my feet got so swollen up that I couldnot fit into any of my footwear. Hope you have a better experience

Some girls do not have morning sickness.... but usually it happens within the second and third months.... could only last acouple more months or countinue throughout your pregnancy. Some doctor's will tell you things to help reduce morning sickness. but try keeping some crackers at your bedside so when ya wake up you can eat some and that will help easy the puking...
