try taking it after a week of being late. Trying it too soon, may come as a negative. But be on the cautious side... some pregnancy's wont read right until youve tested at the hospital by the urin or blood tests they give. A blood test will tell you for certain 100% if your pregnant or not. Ive known friends(knowing they were pregnant) who tried the at home pregnancy test and being 6 months along, read negative. Your best bet would be to wait a few days more then test, and if not happy go into the clinic and ask for a blood test.
If youve missed 2 weeks of due periods than you are most likely pregnant. Missing a few days of your period, might not mean anything yet. Try taking a test on the next week your supposed to be due, then the test will read right.

Depends if your regular (every 28 days) or not? Yes you can have a positive result after 1-2 weeks. Uncommon to find a sure pos. in 6 days late. If you just need to know now, speak with your Dr. in regards to a serum HCG (blood). It can give you a pos. before any urine test regardless of HPT or urine tested at a hospital. A qualitative HCG gives you a "yes or no" answer. A quanlitative HCG can give a good estimate of how long you are. Good Luck and the best to you...

You may not be preganant or you may be. HPT's can sometime take a month beofre they nwill show a positive result. They have to wait for enough of a certain hormone to build up in your system. A blood test from a doctor is 100% accurate and is the best course if you want certainty right away.

6 days is not long enough for a definitive answer - especially with a urine test. If you need to know NOW, have a doctor at a clinic or your own doctor do a blood test. Otherwise, wait 2 or 3 days, then test again if your period hasn't started.

Your body cleans itself in weird ways. Yet you could also bring it on mentally, I did once or twice ( when I wanted to be pregnant ). You can either miss a period or have many in one month, depending on you metal & physical state-I found out both ways. Relax & if you are still experiencing any problems, consult a doctor. It could be anything from a back pain, stress, or even an ovarian cyst (common). Mine was like all three plus some.

Give it 5 - 7 days and take another test. You could be due for your period, or you could be pregnant. Women's cycles vary, so you never know! Mine came every 30 - 45 days, so it was very hard to predict!
