Here are two websites that you can look at that will give you TRUE facts about Anne Frank.
She was by all accounts a typical teenager, prone to all things typical for that age. I have heard statements to the effect that she hated her father which was absolutely untrue. She loved her father very much but as most of us in that age, our relationship with our parents becomes strained.
Under the conditions that she and her family lived in that time along with the other members of the secret hiding place, you can imagine the pain and madness they suffered in that environment, and their constant need for quiet talking, walking, bathroom activity etc. I challenge anyone to live the way they lived for one week and come away unscathed!
The close proximity of the two teenagers in the hiding place lent many romantic feelings to surface, though at first they detested each other. But no, it was not edited out of her diary.
Anne Frank's father by all rights, and to protect his dead daughters reputation in the world after such an atrocious life and death at the hand of nazis[sic], did edit Anne's diary.
Some things are just no one elses business and beyond their authority and ability to judge.
Please look at the links, you will find many things to use.

1/ She hated her father
2/ The published version of the book was highly censored. They removed all the anti-family comments she wrote, which is why parents seem to see her as a saint.
3/ She was Dutch
4/ She was Jewish
5/ She died in the 1940s
6/ She hid from the Nazis with her family
7/ Noone ever mentions the courage of the people who sheltered her family, at great risk to themselves
8/ She wanted a sexual relationship with the son of the the other family in hiding, but was caught, and this was removed from the text. So we can assume she was in favour of sex outside of marriage.
9/ Her family were always bickering, and complaining about food etc, with the other family in hiding with them.
10/ She refused to be quiet when troops were about, almost getting the families caught on more than one occassion.
