Hello,

For me tolerance is my williness to respect the other persons sincerely held views or beliefs even if I dont like them or even if I completely disagree with them.

For example I have to be VERY very tolerant as an atheist when I hear christains talk about what they believe in, even if I think its not true, or is just plain silly, etc I could quote many such examples for you.

**A simple way to put it might be "tolerance is we agree to disagree" The person or group isnt my enemy because of that.

**No! we are sadly in my opinion living through increasingly intolerant times, very paranoid times, extremeism is lurking at the edges all the time much so than in the past.

**Intolance tends to get a higher profile and shouts louder than tolerance. Intolerance is good for business, sells more newspapers and wins higher TV ratings. Tolerance isnt very sexy or exciting I'm affraid, but real tolerance in action is powerful in its own way though.

Tolerance is not punishing people who do things you actually do not like. The opposite of tolerance is intolerance. Intolerance is often found in dictatorships. Tolerance is often about religion, sex, or politics. Tolerance is also about the ability of the body to prevent allergic reactions to food.

Tolerance in my view is accepting others as they are, irrespective of their colour, race, religion, sexuality. It is also being prepared to listen to what others have to say even though you may disagree. It is about respecting people and not being abusive or being a bully and if you don't agree with what they say or do then talk it through without getting angry or using things like religion to hide behind.

tolerance could be somthing distinctive from attractiveness or contract. they're appropriate yet yet tolerance is letting others stay and respecting their adjustments and not nescessarily associates. Accepting them is comparable to tolerance yet welcoming them with open hands. contract is the different extreme, having no aregment with the different faction. besides the undeniable fact that, people see contract as a call for for tolerance/attractiveness unfortunatly. every person has their own opinion and the bill of rights covers it. besides the undeniable fact that, that's as much as us as people of the planet to be keen to not rigidity themselves on others, to share a talk without resorting to loud drunken yelps. i've got confidence adjustments with compromise is greater valuable than agrement with blandness. Tolerance ought to be approximately love and emotion besides the undeniable fact that that's that in case you may look interior your self and study to settle for oposing opinion without resorting to bigotry or hate then thats the hardship-unfastened ingredient. Be philopshical yet everybody could be tolerant. Thats why that's large to adventure.

It means putting up with some really heavy stuff and still be able to smile and be polite. If you can do that... you deserve a gold medal...
It's way to easy to just start shouting and screaming.
