My first thought was WHAT WERE THEY THINKING when they put two little drama queens together on the same show?!
Geeze, it was like watching Little Richard and Elton John go at each other!
I actually watched most of the show, but I guess I missed the "comment in question".
Didn't matter, the whole show was bordering on ridiculous with Kelly and Clay constantly going at it.
Kelly was just a snippy as Clay was.
Something was bound to happen.

During a Q&A session with Emmit Smith and Cheryl Burke (winners of Dancing w/the Stars), Clay couldn't get a question in because Kelly was talking soooo much and firing away questions. He put his hand over her mouth so he could shut her up so he could ask a question. She got offended and he said was that a no-no? And she was like, yeah a big no-no and then she said I don't know where that hand has been.

This morning on The View, this was discussed on hot topics segment and Rosie O'Donnell said she thought it was homophobic of Kelly to say that. Kelly called into the show and basically said that it's flu season, Clay shook all the audience members hands and that what Clay did was unprofessional and that NO she is not homophobic. Rosie said she called it like she saw it.

I'm a lesbian. I didn't necessarily take it as a homophobic remark more of a man holding his penis while he pees...does he wash his hands remark.

Rosie feels sorry for Clay because of all of the rumors out there about his sexuality and the fact that he doesn't want to confirm his orientation.

I don't know....I think everyone is far too sensitive in the world today and there are way more outrageous things to get upset about.

Just my two cents! Also, either perezhilton.com, youtube.com or maybe dailysleaze.com actually has a clip of the day he was on the show.

I just was reading about it!!! Funny funny funny! Hope this helps!!!
Ripa claims that Aiken was hostile toward her and feels that he wasn't "respectful in any way." Tensions ran high throughout the taping, but Clay pissed off the talk diva when he put his hands over her mouth to try to keep her from talking while interviewing "Dancing With The Stars" winners Cheryl Burke and Emmit Smith. Ms. Ripa was not amused, and let Clay know that he had crossed a line by touching her million-dollar cakehole. "Oh that's a no-no... I don't know where your hands have been." She has a point.

Yeah, exceptionally lots as defined above. additionally Rosie mentioned that Kelly does no longer have mentioned that to a stunning guy, which basically bashed gay clay some greater. Rosie is a frightening freak now and has no pals. i think of clay stepped over the line. I mean, this is basically getting way too on the area of somebody. particular i dont think of he meant something rude by it, yet you basically dont do this to somebody except you're fairly familiar with them, like close pals, family, gf/spouse, etc. and clearly he and kelly are not THAT close. i think of the completed element does no longer have been so large if Rosie didnt placed her political comments into it as universal. Who cares what she thinks besides? bear in mind while Rosie had her very own tutor and tom cruise became into prevalent? guy how situations substitute.

Clay Aiken was supposed to have put his hand over Ripa's mouth, to gt her to be quiet so he could get a word in edgewise.

I'm a lesbian, and Rosie O'Donnell is a liberal, bully, mentally challenged jerk.

They talked about it on the View, and Kelly called it. Apparently he covered her face with his hand, I believe, that had something to do with a homophobic remark from Kelly, in which she said it wasn't on The View, when she called on today. She apologized, even if he doesn't.
