What worth do you see in these Questions and Answers?

I've been watching these forums and I find that most of the entries amount to very little. A lot of what goes on has very little content, and a great many answers are completely wrong-headed. I do not discount everything, there are some very interesting subjects, but the signal to noise ratio is so low that any emergent connexions are lost in considerable static. While this site does foster communication, overall it seems to favor the expression of opinion and perception, but thins the flow of actual information. Answering questions has a great emphasis here--especially answering in a way the asker will like, but answering questions *well* has no emphasis at all. This is fine for initiating conversation, but not for discussions of any depth, nor for actually finding answers to questions, especially for questions of theory or fact.
Have you any suggestions that might improve this site's content? Or any ideas that would bring me better results?
I do hope for some good answers.

An infinite amount worth, when it is good and easy, researched, and reinforced as proving the truths.

Gotta agree about the signal to noise ratio. Frankly, the best idea I can think of to improve this site is to have a bolt of lightning hit my computer because I am addicted to this stoopid site & that's the easiest way for me to beat the addiction is to not have a computer. Doesn't work for you? Didn't think it would.

Because it tries to please anyone with any taste, it will never be a good one. If I want to blast someone, I just look down the list of, say, poltical questions. I will find some jac - oops - donkey who deserves a shot in the head. Then I will do my best to answer in a way that he knows he is being insulted, but doesn't have the brains to figure out how.
Sometimes I will see something I don't know how to take & go back into the profile to get a better idea of where she is coming from. Or I may feel like giving a really off the wall answer just for the halibut. Or play Buddy Hackett & rattle off a string of nasty language couched in "reasonable" language to see if it gets by the censors.

And there are times I find someone who is really hurting or who touches my heart & I do what I can to help. Some off the feedback would make you cry. All the othern stuff means nothing.

Yes, I sometimes wish I could change some of the crap I hear on here too, it's like the kid said as he started shoveling like a maniac,"With all this horse manure, there has got to be a pony in here somewhere"

I've found helpful answers to a few questions I've asked on here. I don't think it's a good idea to ask anything really serious, cause no matter how many answers you get or how good they sound, everyone is still strangers. I come to this sight when I want to pass some time or even when I might need help with something trivial. I think if you put too much seriousness into it, it'll loose a lot of it's appeal.

most people do this to solve little issues like their bodily functions or home buyers stress. this is just a fun pointless way to watse your time and see what other people think. best answers are not all that big of a deal. yahoo makes this look too much fun =( you are right. lets leave and go some where

Perception is reality and every one has a slightly different perception.

This site is for both serious and trivial knowledge. It is fun and if you want to have in-depth discussions you should try another site.
