Why can't you find a bargain? Because London is probably the single most expensive city to live in on the entire planet, and Nottinghill is one of the most popular areas to live in all of London. Are you just finding this out now? How is that possible?

Years ago, I had a nice little pad in London for a time. Haven't been back there in a long while, but, sigh, I hear tell things have changed a lot, and about the only affordable accommodation you are likely to find these days is a nice cardboard box somewhere, preferably over a heat grating.

You'd be hard put to find a parking space in nottinghill that's 'cheap'
I think even if someone were to sell their garage as potential living space in Notting Hill and the other decent parts of London it would still go for a mint.
Even decent houses in london's 'ghettos' are difficult at best to buy if you don't have significant 'fundage' from somewhere to invest.
My advice: move up north, places like Hull, and Liverpool still have pretty cheap housing. Generally the higher north you go the cheaper the properties get.

For the same reason nobody else can. The law of supply and demand, darling. You want to live in one of the most expensive parts of London. Of England. Of Europe. Of the Planet.
Is the world supposed to make an exception for you ? Is there a special reason why you deserve this ?

i could choose for to assert Brighton, because it extremely is extra south than south east. even if it extremely is only 50 miles from London, plus it extremely is on the beach! you are able to truly make acquaintances in Brighton, even strangers. it extremely is extremely low priced (no longer ineffective much cheap). stable nightlife. human beings have events each and all of the time. I lived there for 5 years, and my melancholy substitute into surprisingly cured by utilising time I moved out! 20% of citizens are pupils (countless universities and faculties). I certainly have countless acquaintances there, so in case you do choose for to look at Brighton, enable me be attentive to and that i'll place you in touch with many helpers!

Try South east London.
Much more green - very pleasant - the next property hotspot - and you can pick up a 2 bed house for 180k

Try the local laundry, grocer, or other public bulletin board. That's where I found my dog, and he now has a home.
