Since your kids are apart of him then it is right for them to carry his name. Unfortunately, You are no longer Mrs. Sexton so you really should go back to your Maiden name whether you like it or not- Keep it Real-

I would use my maiden name. I wouldn't use his name just because of my kids. Your heading to a new life.

I do not believe the woman should be entitled to keep the name. It is HIS name and if you divorce, you should have to give it back. I don't get why people need matching last names anyway. My husband and I do not have matching last names. He has his, I have mine.

It's basically your choice, if you want to go back to your maiden name, then by all means do so. However, if you legally changed your name at marriage, then that's now your legal name.

I would suggest keeping his name since you have children with that same last name.
