Whats wrong with my Final Fantasy X game?

So I started playing this game about a week ago. For about half of the game I played it with no cheats, but then I started to use gameshark on it. It worked just fine until last night. When I was having Kimarhi fighting his Ronso brothers, the brothers had a lot of health! It said something like 244667! I was so frusterated because that would take forever to kill them. Next, I tried taking gameshark off the game, but it was still there. Whats wrong with my game?

Please help me. I need to finish the game or I will never know what happens. It's like reading a good book and having the pages missing so you can't finish it! UGHH.

And no it's not an online game.

Gameshark is a cheat device and can cause glitches in your game. You won't know the extent unless you try to start a new game. If you start a new game and the glitches are still there you'll need to try to use a different memory card. If its still there, then it means the problem lies within your game. If so, then you'll have to get a new Final Fantasy X. Gameshark can be VERY risky and you never know the affects it will have on your game.

I hope you kept a save file before you gamsharked it.

Sometimes gameshark hacks will get saved on your save file so even if you don't start the game through gameshark, the effects of the cheats will still be there.

I tried this with FF8. And it totally screwed up my game. I had all the GFs, but they would never level up. I had to start over.
Of course, this was a PS1 gamshark - maybe they fixed that with the PS2, but I doubt it.

that's the bad think about game shark thing for RPG games. Cheat devices tend to sometimes screw with the game setting and make it IMPOSSIBLE To play through. You might go through game shark on ytour game to disable the codes i know some cheat devices do allow that.
