C'mon Katie, it ain't your firewall blocking you out, it's your employer's anti-surfing software that's blocking you out. Is risking your job really worth it????

Funny u should ask because i was thinking i need one tooo! lol Well before on our old pc my hubby installed black ice. That firewall would not even let you install a new program without going through several steps. It was a great firewall. I am getting the link right now. http://www.blackice.com/DigitalRiver/DRPCProtect.html
It is 39.95 but its worth the money and thats not too expensive. I need to purchase it again cause last computer motherboard died lol. Which had nothing to do with blackice don't get confused! My hubby took apart computer piece by piece...and then it stopped working ...ahem. lol.

first, most firewall is block other access to your computer, not block you access (browse) other places.

second, if a firewall set you can not access some site, if you can by pass that, it's not a firewall. you must config the firewall itself to allow you to access the site.

your firewall should not stop you from going anywhere on the net. unless your at work/school and they have that site blocked.

The only way to do it is to disable your firewall, there is no other safe/easy way around it.
