I had my "anual exam" done on monday. Thats when i found out i was 5 weeks pregnant. Later that night i had VERY SLIGHT bleeding. It was a light pink and not even enough to soak my underware. It was just a teeny tiny bit. Is this something i should be worried about or could it have been from my exam?

More than likely, it's from the exam. I almost always have a little blood after a pelvic exam. I'm 35 weeks pregnant now with my 3rd child. Also, I had a little bleeding at first too, which was right around the time my period was supposed to start.

It was from your exam. I had my first "doctor" appt. since I found out that I was pregnant last wednesday. They told me that I was going to have a papsmear done. They said that after the exam it might cause a light bleeding. They said as long as it's not as much blood as a period your fine. Good Luck and Congradulations!

It very well could be from the exam or a "mini period". With both of my pregnancies I would still have a "period" for the first month or two but it was hardly nothing. It would last maybe three days and would be as light as my periods usually were on the last day. If you're really worried, you should call your doctor just for reasurrance.

It could be from the exam. I'd suggest putting in a panty liner and just keeping an eye on it. If it increases or continues past 1 day, its best to call your doctor.

I wouldn't worry about it. It's most likely that the bleeding was caused by your exam. Have a wonderful pregnancy!

when i got my exam this time around i noticed some pink blood after i wiped.i was still at the docs office so i asked her if it was normal and she said yes.she said it was because my cervix is very sensitive when your pregnant.as long as it was light and went away that day it was fine.this also happened after sex once or twice so it might happen to you too.its completely normal but call your doc just to be reassured!thats what theyre there for!good luck and congrats!

It's possible that it was from your exam, did you also have a pap smear, or anything like that? My doctor always tells me if what he has done can cause slight cramping. I would call and check with the doctor.

could have been from the exam or even sex can cause this, your cervix are so tender even the slightest things can make you sore or even feel like you have cramps,

Get ready for a roller coster of emotions and new strange feelings you have no answer for, just hang in there and ask as many questions as you can!
