I have been having all pregnancy symptoms since a little bit after I ovulated so I took a Clear Blue Easy Digital Test (the ones that say Pregnant or Not Pregnant) about a week before my period was supposed to come. The first test that I took said pregnant. The next morning I took the second test in the box and it said not pregnant!? So I went in for a blood test and they gave me a bunch of crap because it was a week before my missed period but I was concerned because I had a miscarriage about six months back. The blood test came up negative. I am now late on my period and still have cramping, nausea, head acches and now sore breasts. Has anyone ever had this happen or had bad experience with this test?

It sounds to me like you are pregnant! Congratulations, I would wait a week or so and take another test just to be sure. I am 17 weeks prego and I had taken 4 tests and they were all mixed. It was just too soon to test. I went to the Dr. and found out when I was 6 weeks. Congrats again.

The home tests rely on HCG horomone levels to operate. Your HCG horomones double daily in the first weeks of pregnancy. The home tests detect the presence of that horomone, and that's what causes the indicator line to turn...if it's present, it's there.

My first two children, those little sticks said I wasn't pregnant from 5 weeks through week 21. (I knew I was pregnant, because I went to a obstetrician).

Your symptoms could also be associated with that of your menstrual cycle, but only a doctor could tell you for sure.

My surefire symptom for pregnancy was raging heartburn whenever I layed down, and as embarassing as it is to tell you, whenever I went outside into the cold it felt like my nipples were on FIRE.

If you want a second opinion, go see a different OB/GYN. Tell them what's going on, and request another blood test.

Otherwise, screw Clear Blue Easy. That test is terrible. I always had better luck with the cheap ones.

I agree with the previous poster. Go take another at home test to immediately ease your mind, then make an appointment to see your doctor for another blood test.

give it a couple of weeks. I've never had a false test, I would be really upset too! just wait for your period, you could skip a month. If you don't have take another test. I've skipped mine have before

My wife had the same thing and it turned out to be a miscarriage. I would definitely bring your concerns to your doctor. especially if you have miscarried before. let the doctor know that.
