Well, I don't know if you would consider these people "famous" but I did at the time.

I met Darryl Sittler (captain of the Toronto Maple Leafs hockey team in the late 70's or early 80's) when he was at the height of his career. He bought homemade bread from me!!

I met Charlie Pride, shook his hand and got a picture taken with him.

I have met a few Tottenham hotspur players. My dad was mates with one of them and he would get into the players bar after the games. I only went once or twice. I am not really into football.
My dads cousin used to play for Luton (he played for england for a bit too) he now manages a team cant remeber what.
His son is a football player too.
I walked past Sven Goran Ericson in heathrow airport once.
Thats about it I think.

Almost met Josh Duhamel from Las Vegas TV Show and the movie Win a Date w/Tad Hammilton. He was filming something at a gas station a few miles from my house. Didn't stop and talk to him though. And met George Benson(a jazz performer and singer) when I was younger. I don't think anybody else from what I can remember though.

I used to go to school and youth club with Chris Chittel's son (Eric Pollard from Emmerdale!) So I met the man behind Eric Pollard loads of times.

I met Darren Day once too (oh the shame)

Oh and I got a hug and a kiss of Chesney Hawkes too when he played at the night club I used to work at (during his attempted relaunch)

Bumped into several while changing planes during my travels : Richard Simmons(most recent, exercise guru), Yoko Ono(John Lennon's widow), Richard Petty(Nascar), Terry Jacks(Seasons in the Sun), Ace(one of the members from KISS), Linda Grey(Suellen from Dallas), I met the band well known in the Carolinas called General Johnson and the Chairmen of the board(Carolina Girl, On the Beach some of their hits), Johnny Cochran(one of OJ's lawyers, passed him coming from Charlotte,NC several years ago.),

I've met all of the members of the Barenaked Ladies after one of their concerts, I ran into Brett Hull (hockey player) in an elevator in Vegas once and just last week my roommate and I saw Rocky (from Laguna Beach) walking in Times Square.
