It could be. According to Wikipedia, "while alcohol use is required to trigger alcoholism, the biological mechanism of alcoholism is uncertain. For most people, moderate alcohol consumption poses little danger of addiction. Other factors must exist for alcohol use to develop into alcoholism. These factors may include a person's social environment, emotional health and genetic predisposition" You don't need to drink every day to be an alcoholic. Everything is find in moderation: drinking to the point of getting drunk is NOT moderation.

Let's say you have 6 drinks total a week; but you have them all on one day instead of spacing it out. Your liver has to work 6x as hard to process them. Learn to have fun without the excess of alcohol; you'll feel better about yourself and be overall more healthy!

Okay as long as it is only once a week. I mean it could turn into an everyday thing. Just be careful and responsible. Don't let it take over your life.
