That's like asking which Democrat would best help our country by running for Pres. in '08.
All the stuff you normally eat at BK or McED's you can just as easily and almost as quickly make in your home or apartment, and without the health risks.
You really are asking a "Which is the lesser of these evils?" question, because all of the fast food places use more trans fats and sat. fats than what is healthy for you.
Just buy your meats from grocery stores and fry them at home and take control of your diet instead of allowing fast food joints to do so; 20-60 years from now, you will be very glad you did.

If you are eating right you will eat small meals that are around 300-400 calories each, and small 100 calorie snacks in between meals. Subway has a sandwich of the day that is $2.50 so thats not expensive, just stay away from the tuna which is loaded with fat. Also dont get the chips and choose diet drinks or tea. If you go to Taco Bell you can order your food Fresco style and that is their healthy option. It takes the cheese off and adds pico instead.
A fresco style taco is 150 calories and 7 grams of fat.
The origional taco is 170 cal and 10 grams fat.
If you get a chicken fiesta burrito fresco style its 340 cal and 8 grams fat.
The original is 370 calories and 11 grams fat.
Go to there website and you can find more info.

The best option I have found is at KFC. The tender roast sandwich, with no sauce, is 260 calories and 5 grams fat. I eat them all the time and they taste really good because the chicken is marinated and you really wont miss the sauce.
Mc Donalds has some salads that are good for you but you have to watch what you put on any salad. Dressing alone can add almost 100 extra calories and if you have cheese and croutons they add calories and fat too.
I didnt find anything good for you at Whataburger or Sonic.
Here are some web sites to look at:
http://www.mcdonalds.com/
http://www.kfc.com/
http://www.wendys.com/
http://www.cooldeli.com/ (this is Schlotskys Deli)
I hope this helps.

It's not -where- you eat, it's -what-. All fast food is designed by 'food engineers' to be cheap to make, consistent from one place to another, etc. None of it is designed to be nutritious, nutrition is not a high priority. But most places have salads, and salads are generally pretty good for you. Grilled chicken or rotisserie chicken is not too bad because its not a 'manufactured' food like fast-food burgers. There's usually a diet soda option, which saves you about 10 teaspoons of refined sugar. Subway advertises their sandwiches are better for you, at least lower in fat. There might be something to that, but their sandwich meats are also -manufactured- and you have no idea what's in them. But sandwiches are probably better than a burger and fries!

Chipotle or Subway are the best, but may be too expensive.
Check out a supermarket, they often have a quick deli section with pre-made sandwiches for a few bucks. You could also pick up some yogurt, it's pretty cheap and healthy, or fresh bread and cheese.

Taco Bell is pretty high in carb and fat content.
A barbeque chicken sandwhich from Kentucky Fried Chicken is low points on the Weight Watchers Scale.
Most fast food places these days have salad options that aren't too bad for you.

Alex B,
Taco bell. The refried beans are totally fat free and there ground beef is very lean and low in fat. What can you say bad about lettuce, tomatoes and rice. I would say Taco Bell is hands down the healthest fast food place to eat.

taco bell's 7 layer burrito isnt too bad i dont think. i dont eat meat, so if i break down and get fast food, i go there sometimes. It just has rice, beans, lettuce, tomatoes, guacamole (i order it without guac) and thats about it...not bad. or else go to a sandwich place. its always healthier than burgers and fries or chicken sandwiches from burger king or mcdonalds.
