What color shoes can I wear with a brown leather jacket?

I generally wear a lot of black and just branched out with a chocolate brown distressed leather jacket. What color shoes (and clothes) should I wear with it? Can I wear suede as well as leather shoes?

Yes, mixing textures and fabrics is good...the rules are not as strict as in the past.

You can wear red shoes, brown shoes, black shoes.....camel shoes....a leopard print would be cute! Or, wear shoes to match whatever it is you are wearing under the jacket...that is an idea too.

With a brown leather jacket, softer colors can be worn, rather than dark, as you would with a black coat.

So try different things, such as soft brown or suede boots that are knee high, very sexy fashion.

Or clogs, the type with low or high heels.

Clothes can range from soft pastels,creams or off white, for the shirt colors, and brown or kakii pants or skirt. Even black pants can be matched and give that color skeem. The main thing you must remember is to never wear all the same color. Like to wear all brown would be very bleak and everything would run together. Always try to throw in some color to off set your look and make you look fresh, not drab.

A lot of different rich textures might be too much (like suede and leather together). I'm guessing that since you wear a lot of black that you have a lot of black shoes. Brown and black can be friends now. Everything doesn't have to be matchy matchy. Wear black leather shoes or boots with the jacket. If you have some brown leather shoes or boots that would look good too (obviously). Mix and match until you find what looks good.

I would say try and match the brown of the jacket to a pair of shoes or boots. That would go well together.

Stay with either neutral colors, or browns.
Black and brown are kind of nasty together.

Suede... Not so sure that would go well.
I would say stay with Leather...

Hey- I bought a black leather jacket, I wear it with a grey hoody, light blue jeans, brown belt and brown sand boots, If I wear my dark blue jeans I usually wear my black boots with the jacket and black belt, it looks really good (I work in fashion so I'd be told the minute I walk into work if I looked stupid) I also suggest wearing the same colour belt as shoes you wear, it ties everything together... Have fun ;)

You can wear dark brown, tan or fawn shoes with your brown jacket. Yes you can wear suede as well as leather shoes

I personally wouldn't wear suede with leather..but you can...you can wear a nice pair of brown leather boots..you can wear tan clothes..and i love how orange looks with brown also..you can wear an orange top..khakis..brown shoes and your jacket..you can also wear plum..that looks good with chocolate brown also..so you can wear tan, orange, plum, brown, yellow(not bright, like a mustard color), or taupe

In my opinion, just DO NOT ever ever ever mix black, brown and navy blue. If u stick by that, you should be ok. Oh, pink and red also don't always work too well together.

With brown, I'd stick to warm natural earthy tones, but going for something bright and exciting is always fun!
