I can be a 65 year old nasty person on the net, or a 20 yr. old hot body and you have no idea. I can send a photo of a neighbor and say it is me. I'm real creative. YOU HAVE NO IDEA WHO THIS PERSON REALLY IS !!! You can become great friends on the net, you can not fall in love. Time with the person allows that. If you need to meet this person, start by having him email notes to your parents. Let them see who it is you like so much. DO NOT go see him by yourself. TOO MANY people have been abducted and killed by doing this. Is he worth a risk of you dieing? If he is truly the person who you think he is, he'll write to your folks, even a letter if they don't like computers. Someday, they will take you to meet him if they see this side of him. Please be careful. Personalities on the net are not the real ones we live and see. Many times the net personalities are people we want to be or want other people to think we are.

Well golly gee whiz, I wonder why any parent would think that?
Could it be all the actual true horror stories that occurred with the Internet "Love connections".
You do not know who or what you are communicating with.
Most likely a child predator or some loser.

You didn't tell us what your age is and that could make a huge difference in my response. If your parents are this opposed to it, then you'll have to wait. If it's true love, then it will withstand the test of time.

I MUST say that meeting someone over the internet and "going out" most likly will never work out and that your parents are right for not allowing you to meet him. Sorry....

you probably wont be able to explain this to them....the best thing to do is bring him around and let him meet your family and them seeing the two of you together will speak volumes.....by the way...you have met him in real life right?
