Other than the transmission, the remaining parts are just parts that do eventually wear out over time.
You should have the radiator flushed yearly to keep it clean and prevent deposits from forming or it will eventually clog.
Starter motors do wear out. They are electrical motors and I've had to replace 4 of them for my Camry. If you're smart, and willing to do it yourself, buy a starter motor with a lifetime warranty from an autoparts store like Autozone. I paid for my first starter motor, the last 3 were free. Just my cost to install it.
Oxygen sensors also wear out or get dirty with carbon. It's part of the engine cycle, because carbon (soot) comes out of the engine it will get covered and become less effective. Life span of most Oxygen sensors is 5-10 years. So yours was probably due.
Automotive parts wear out, Your car is over 10 years. The cost for replacing the parts is still less than payments on a new car. I'm sorry to say, it's just an old car. And like any old car, it will eventually need parts replaced.
