flash only means the memory it already has built into the mp3/mp4 players. it doesn't require you to buy any thing else extra.

If it has the flash memory installed, that's great and very similar to the iPod nano. Specifically means there's no moving parts. Some higher capacity mp3 players actually have a hard disk inside. Flash memory players either have the memory permanently installed or you buy "cards". In either situation, no moving parts, less to break down.

i suggest you buy an ipod nano with 4 gb that has a hard disk not a flash memory. A flash memory is a memory that if it's overwritten a couple of thousands of time it damages it's self and you can not use it anymore. If you buy an mp3 player with a hard disk you won't have this problem anymore

There are two main types of MP3 players. These are flash players and hard-drive based players.

1) Flash Players. These players have solid memory in them, which is just like the Ram in your computer. There are no moving parts, which prevents skipping and increases battery life. The downside is that flash memory is more expensive per gigabyte (GB) than hard-drive players.

2) Hard drive players are just like the hard drive in your computer that stores large volumes of info. They are cheaper but usually only exist in MP3 players as large drives. (You're unlikely to find a 4GB Hard Drive player) They use more power since they have to spin a hard drive inside the device at speeds like 4500 or 5400RPM. (It's pretty much like a big record spinning inside, but reading the music as digital data)

I'm pretty sure that the flash memory you refer to is built into the device and is not something you need to buy. I'm not aware of any MP3 players where you buy the memory and add it yourself. Most likely it is just referring to the type of device that it is. Hard drive based players have a tiny amount of flash memory that they transfer data to before sending it the the headphones, so maybe this is where the confusion came from.

It means the player has no hard disk. HD players can store up to 60 gigabytes. Normal size is 30 Gb. And no, you don't have to buy anything extra. 4 Gb is good for a flash player. That's its internal memory, It's like your RAM memory in your PC.

Friendship, no it relatively is not undesirable....my contacts only this week helped me turn my head faraway from the darkness and in direction of the easy....it relatively is not delusional in any respect, yet a certainty.
