Please help me find details. I am trying to understand the process by which Beta radiation interacting with an atom will cause the discharge of the bremsstrahlung x-rays. I am doing an experiment where beta radiation that is absorbed by a certain material by the process of beta particles interacting with the atoms causes bremsstrahlung x-rays to be emitted. Help me please. Thanks

Bremsstrahlung x-rays are continuous-spectrum rays emitted by high energy electrons decelerating rapidly when colliding with the nucleus of an atom in the target. They are distinguished from the narrow-spectrum "characteristic" x-rays that are emitted from when electrons of heavy elements make transitions between lower energy levels, as when caused by a collision with a high energy electron.
