Does the Gameboy Micro use the same games as the gameboy Advance?

the gameboy micro is able to play any games that say "gameboy advance" on the box. usually these games are abot five mm thick, two cm high, and 3.5 cm across (roughly - i don't have a game in front of me to measure)

the gameboy micro is not able to play old gameboy games, or gameboy color games. these unplayable games, though they number in the thousands, are getting kind of old. (not that i'm against that). these unplayable games are about twice as high as gameboy advance games (twice the surface area)

the gameboy advance [and the SP, by extension] are the only system that can play every single type of gameboy game. the DS is *not* a gameboy.
