My current job pays me more $ per hour but I have an offer to be salary for more $ per year but with more opportunity.
I get $19.50 per hour now for 36k or I can take 45 for 45 hours a week..
I am still young 25.
I love my free time.

if i understand it right, you wonder if you should take a higher salary, but have less free time. while we all have the work / free time balance to strike, i think you should consider the new opportunity as a chance to broaden your horizons. you are young, so you have time to adjust to another position if it turns out you are not liking it. make the most of this new spot and see what happens, but enjoy the ride!

Is this a career you can see yourself in five or ten years from now? If so, you may want to sacrifice now to move up in the company and be better positioned for further promotion or better positions at other companies. More money now means more to invest at this early stage in your life, and compound interest is your friend.

Also, a better postion and a salaried one often means more paid time off and more yet in subsequent years.

i would go for the salary thinger. you're young, yes. but you also wanna be planning for your future. do what you think will work the best for you. but if i were you i would take the salary.
