I use t-mobile. Just bought a phone PAYG from Argos for £29.99 for my sons christmas. You can pick different price plans too - at the moment I'm on texts for 5p - but this is only to other t mobile users. Normal texts cost 12p (I think). Have a look on their website and see what you think www.t-mobile.co.uk

and I get a good signal in most places! No contracts and they do good deals such as top up with more than £10 and get free weekend texts - that sort of thing. Can't fault them really

I have a GO PHONE though Cingular and I pay $50 month and they roll over my minutes every month. I never have problems with the Cingular network. Also, I believe you can get free phones with them as well.

No contracts to sign, if you dont pay one month, you just dont get service. Its very convenient for us.

I think Virgin is quite cheap and they have some good deals on their website www.virginmobile.com
There is also no charge for picking up ansaphone messages so when the credit runs out and you are ringing her cos she is past her curfew and she ignores it cos she doesn't want to face you - THERE'S NO EXCUSE FOR NOT PICKING UP THE MESSAGE TO SAY HOME NOW!!!Hee hee hee
