You could also do a how-to on something you're interested in. How to post a question on Yahoo Answers. How to do an ollie on a skateboard. How to make homemade cookies.
Or, you could do something more conceptual. How to get what you want for your birthday. How to convince your mom to let you see a certain person. How to break a bad habit. How to be more popular.
Be creative. Ask your parents and your friends about something they'd like to learn how to do. Then write a paper as if you're writing it for them. That way, you'd take more of an interest in it.
