No, it'd just turn out horrible like the movie "How to Deal" did based on the books by Sarah Dessen. Sarah Dessens books were aweseme- That Summer & Someone like you but the movie i heard was really dumb and the actors were horrible. I think that the gossip girl series would just make for another stupid, overly-dramatic teenage movie. the books are good though

I agree with the other response to this. Any series like that geared towards teenagers will probably make more in movie form than book form.
