Shannon Tate. She was famous Hollywood actress, they thought Beach Boy producer still live there, Manson was screwed out of recording contract! Beach Boys record his song, Cease to Exist adn change lyrics and title to Cease to Resist! Crazy but true!

Sharon Tate was murdered by the manson family in that house on August 9, 1969 (along with four friends). Sharon Tate was pregnant and was the wife of Roman Polanski (who has since been convicted of sex with a minor and ran to France as a fugitive).
