This does not apply to UK muslims who are loyal and respect this country's values, culture and way of life. But the 120,000(mainly pakistanis & bangladeshis) who tacitly support and condone attacks on the UK and UK interests abroad (according to MI5), and the larger number who wont mix with british people, learn english or accept our values and freedoms....why the hell dont they leave?? Arent they hypocrites??
Perhaps because they know this country offers far more in every respect than the backward countries they come from?

Great Britain bends over far too far for these scrounging evil tyrants. To the muslims who integrate and live happily among us god bless them and I welcome them with open arms.
However, the vile hate mongering preachers who scream the evils of this country should go to a country that welcoms their evil and pathetic ideals.
They are here because there is no place for them in their own country... they come here with their hands out and are given everything they need nearly no questions asked... they are not screened or when they commit crimes they blame it on the infidel English and quite often are then mollycoddled or given pathetically lenient sentances or fines, which we have to pay for them in the first place....

But if you are fighting a war on terror without any enemies, would you have a war to fight? If you go to battle and the opposition pack their bags and go home?

Like if all the insurgents in Afghanistan and in Iraq put down their guns and go home to mummy would there be a war on terror? War is because elements from each side decide to become unreasonable. So it is unlikely that they pack their bags and go because you say so.

But having said that I don't think we have a serious Islamist problem in this country. I think that some people are stressed out by the news. If you really want to see an Islamist problem, do a week in Pakistan, Iraq, Lebanon,West Bank or such places.

I agree. I have some personal experience of these people. They seem to think of themselves as some kind of holy warriors, who's intend is to destroy the society "from inside" using lies, deception and dishonesty. Sounds insane but that their words, not mine. There should be some law that says that if they want to stay in this country, they have to accept the society and culture as a package. Apart from that, something needs to be done about the rampant benefit frauds. The other day a Bangladeshi man was boasting that he earns £4000 per week and still claims benefits - which is quite an amount considering he has 12 children.

The answer lies in the fact that they can stay here, they are free to say and think what they like, can hold reasonable jobs and get paid every month, they can afford to feed their families etc, many of which they would be unable to do or practice if they were to go to an Islamist country. An example: Afghanistan when the Taliban were in control... not that many Islamist wanted to go there... Hypocrisy is unfortunately a trait found in most religions and especially those who tend to be fundamentalist... Christian or Muslim... Both condemn anything that does not comply to their thinking, even though religion in general preaches tolerance... C'est la vie!

If you're right that they support and condone attacks on the UK, then maybe they choose to live here because it's easier to attack it from here.

If their support is tacit, though, I don't see how it can be known. I'd think there would have to be guesswork involved.

There's nothing inherently contradictory about believing that a society is evil and wicked and should be destroyed and still wanting to make as much provision for yourself and your family as possible.

Why do they leave their country of origin to begin with? Because, either it isn't that great, or they are out to cause trouble.
