No, we shouldn't, and it pisses me off when people claim that those of us who oppose the war also oppose the troops. It simply isn't true, because we support the troops so much that we want them to come home.

This isn't as much of a question as it is a statement
and
I love it!. Absolutely not. Politicians have no connection to the hard working men and women who are serving and fighting in our armed forces, except that they get to make a vote to decide their fate. Politicians should not be allowed to make the connection to the troops unless it's for a real good reason (i.e. they served themselves).
