I have an idea for a new consumer product. What do I need to do to get it it manufactured?

Hypothetically, let's say it's a new perfume. Do I need to hire a laboratory to get it tested? Then how do I mass produce it?

You have to get it patented. Which from my research would cost you at the most $4,000. Call Patent USA or go online
