Vikes have a different scheme now, different from the gunslinging game that Mike Tice preached. It will take some time of the players to get used to it.
They do need a yaouger more mobile QB, plus a better running game (maybe a tandem of two backs) . Troy Williamson is still young and will develop in a year or two.
The Vikes fans are angry? That's a surprise. They are the most patient fans I've known

Greeting Minn. My uncle lives on Lake Minetonka (sp).
Childress has done a fairly good job; they don't have the talent. Defense hasn't been consistent and Brad Johnson is not an elite QB. Chester Taylor has been a great RB this year but their o-line has also been poor. I dont' like their WR at all. I think they need more play makers and need to find a QB in the near future. They are an avg. team;

No its not Brad's fault. He was given a broken TV to work with and now he has 3 channels working. Special teams is strong, running game is strong, and defense is real strong. That said you can't expect a team to lose there Pro Bowl QB and actually be good. Besides he's only been there 1 year and he has very little to work with on offense. GIve him some time and he can turn things around.

Have no fear it will turn around eventually. Part of it is Childress fault. After losing a QB like you had and some guy names Moss. You are bound to have a small stumbling stone. Im from SE Tenn and look at us The Titans we lost Mcnair and hes doing great at Baltimore, but give V Young some time and all will be fine. Just stay loyal to your team, no matter what happens. I respect someone who sticks with their team through tough times, keep it up.

It's the QB. BJ should be a backup at this stage in his career. He's a statue in the pocket.
It also appears that they've missed on some of their recent draft picks. Williamson has the dropsies. The WR core is pretty mediocre, and injury prone. Robinson is always hurt, and Taylor has always been a chump.
Things will get better if they can find a QB to groom.

The Vikes just are not consistent enough, like some other team people thought that was not consistent, but may end up going all the way.

They do not have any offensive threats and a less than average QB.
Bottom line, you can't win a football game when you wear Purple!
