If Black Americans "understands that Redpublicans are the party of prosegeration", then there is a big problem here. They need to go back and study actual history. Segregation came from the Southern DEMOCRATS. If it weren't for the support of the Republicans, good or bad, the Civil Rights Act would not have happened. DEMOCRATS like Al Gore SR (yes, Al Gore's Dad) voted against it!
Also, when you consider that 1/3 of all abortions done in this country have been done on Black American babies, I don't think that it is in the best interests of Black Americans to promote abortions.
The restoration of the family unit is probably the single most important thing for Black Americans.

Because u may be prejudiced doesnt mean i am. I am a republican. segregation is a joke-first of all-no one that really matters wants it-and surely not the republicans who r reaching out to get the black vote. Free abortions-abortion is clearly wrong. Now everyone knows that human life begins when the 23 chromozomes of the male combine with that of the female(conception), the constitution has a flaw that it only protects the born. If it said human life, we wouldnt have this abortion issue at all. Do u know why they didnt put that in the Constitution? Because they didnt have abortion 200+ years ago. U need to look into politics before labeling people. I dont always see people as black or white-I just see them as people. You r a person, u r human life. Color, religion, sex, etc. divides, not unites.
PS-if reps were racist against blacks, they probably wouldnt have black cabinet members. ???

Sorry 43 you are wrong. The Republicans are the ones that ended segregation and all the other Jim Crow laws, not the Democrats. The vast majority of Democrats voted against the 1964 Civil Rights Act.
Planned Parenthood, an extreme liberal organization, was founded by supporters of the eugenics movement. That is why they purposely canvas inter-cities attempting to convince these "undesirables" to abort their offspring!
And before any misinformed person states the fallacy that back in the 1960s the Democrats were the Republicans and Republicans were the Democrats. Let's just take one easy example. Al Gore was a Democratic Senator from the south, he occupied the same seat as his father who was also a Democrat, and his father voted against the 1964 Civil Rights Act.

In modern day America people of any race are poor and uneducated only because they choose to be. We all attend the same schools, have the same opportunities and are the master of our own destiny.
The excuses made by poverty pimps such as The Rev. Jackson and Al Sharpton are meant to continue racial devide in this country. They tell blacks that they WILL fail and that that failure is all the white mans fault. These types of people are getting rich off of the backs of their own people.
Blacks need to find new "leaders" to follow. Look at Colin Powell or Condi Rice? Why don't blacks embrace these leaders? Because the poverty pimps call them "uncle tom's".
Empower yourself. Don't be lead around like sheep!

How about the black community stop thinking of themselves as a "community" and improve their own lives on an individual basis, in contrast to their constant claims that they can't because of racism.
Nice of all you democrats to give blacks the "racists" excuse for failure, from the moment of their birth.
Odd that the Asians, instead of whining about racism, study hard and become successful.
Why are blacks incapable of that?

The best plan would be to help women who face the burdens of poverty and child rearing. The rate of abortions among poor women is 4.5 times that of middle class women. Republicans could obtain gratification by saving "babies", Democrats by helping the poor.
