My parents would always say that they wanted Peace. Let them sleep in, do chores, fix breakfast for them. Buying "things" is easy, doing "things" takes more thought and is appreciated more. Kids hate that answer - but now that I'm a parent I'd love a day without those little petty fights. Yeah, I want Peace.

I made my parents family tree photos. I framed pics of my great grandma all the way down to their grandchildren. you can buy poster board for an inexpensive matte background and I picked up a poster frame from walmart for only 15 dollars and put it together I used any pictures (that were flattering) and cut them down to size if needed they will love it

Have stars named after them...check out www.starregistry.com. It's pretty cheap and they send you all the info in a really nice way. It includes a certificate officially naming the star (you can name it whatever you want) And it also includes a beautiful map so you can locate your star.

Send them on vacation some place they love that they haven't been for a long time. Everyone loves time away I know if someone did that for me I would be very happy. Good luck and Happy Thanksgiving

Dig up some old pictures of yourself as a kid, go to Walmart, or Target and get it blown up and buy a picture frame. I did it last year and it brought my parents to tears... they loved it. It is also really inexpensive.
