I suggested Real Estate or Phlebotomy to my friend, but she's shy and squeamish. Any ideas?

Most require some type of degree just to get hired. Someone suggested being an Administrative Assistant. That's a good one, and that particular field offers two professional certifications that are VERY educational. The CPS, or Certified Professional Secretary and the CAP, or Certified Administrative Professional. They are sponsored by the International Association of Administrative Professionals, or IAAP. Go to their website... www.iaap-hq.org. They're a GREAT organization and have tons of information on their site. If you join a local chapter, they are very helpful, supportive and you'll make great friends who are in the same field. It'll change your life. Their tag line is... it turns a job into a career.

Have your friend look at these sites to earn money from home and your friend may not have to go look for work. You register for free at www.directmatches.com/raympe6. Once you browse around and like what you see, you can upgrade and make money too. This second one here is awesome as they pay you to watch 4 seminars a month through pay-pal. It's also free to join. Type it without spaces. I have to put spaces so it does not cut off so here it it.... www.bestcashrewards.com /affiliates/t.php?rid=914. Once you log in, you will find yourself in a sort of chat/conference room so you need your speakers as you will be greeted and you will be explained how it works. If the link does not work, go to the Website www.bestcashrewards.com and tell them Raymonde (914) referred you to it.
