If you were the President of the United States what would you do to insure a better country?

The 1st thing would be to bring home the approx. 40,000 troops we have stationed in Germany and post them along the Mexican border. They already have the training and equipment they need. Their orders are not to let anyone across w/o proper documentation.
The 2nd thing would be to abolish the Department of Education. In its nearly 30 years of existence, American public schools have gone from being the envy of the world to the biggest joke of the world.
The 3rd thing would be to eliminate funding for the arts. If artists can't sell what they create, they should find other employment. It is not the taxpayer's responsibility to feed them.
I think those three are a good start - there is tons more that needs to be done.

I would open up a case whoop-*** on Iraq and finish up the work there. Then I would recall ALL troops around the world. I would stack them up on the Mexican border as well as our shores. I would tell the world we're not paying you for any debts we have with you and you're forgiven anything you owe us. Now go figure out your own problems and don't call us. I would push our scientists to develop alternate fuel sources. If they want to be our ally they can join the United Nations of the United States. Criminals will be dealt with swiftly and the punishment will fit according to their crime. People could be punished once again for sedition and treason with death. Vote for me and I'll clean up this country.

Finish off Iraq by carpet bombing the place into a big crater. Then outlaw the democratic party. Cut ties with turd world nations and let them solve there own problems. Invade canada and mexico. Then sit back with a big cigar and watch the money roll in to the USA.

sever all ties with Israel and request the rest of the world do the same. also stop the lobbying concept. then watch as the world becomes a much more peaceful place.
