I hope so but Vinateri being on the Colts somewhat scares me. No matter what the NFC will not win and with the Broncos looking at a Wild Card right now and not having home field on the Colts or Pats I would say it will be between the Colts and Pats in the Championship game but way too close to tell right now. If I had to make a pick right now I believe the Pats will run all over the Colts but until Jan. I would rather not say.

In answer to your question... no, the Patriots are a strong team and perennially a contender but this season they lack the personnel to win the Super Bowl. That's what happens when you have no go-to receivers.

What I'm more curious about is how dominant player and Tiki ended up in the same sentence in one of the other answers. He has 1 TD this season and constantly fumbled the ball through the first 8 seasons or so of his career. I'd think Ladainian Tomlinson would be a little more dominant than Tiki Barber, given that he's only played half as long and has been consistently putting up hall of fame #s. Not a Bolts fan by the way, just stating a fact.

I hope so. the PATS rule!!! Brady is the man and Belichick is the wizard. The Pats work together as a TEAM. There is no one player who dominates, like Tiki for example. I like how in superbowls they announce the TEAM, not individual players. Now that's class.

i see the Chargers fans are out en masse, yet they seem to forget their so called D let up 41 and 28 points the last few weeks. Granted LT is in a zone but on balance the Patriots have more balance

They don't have a prayer at beating the Chargers in the playoffs. They aren't talented enough on either side of the ball. That Chargers offense combined with a healthy defense is going to be unstoppable this year.

yes i think so everybody seems to forget that tom brady has only lost one playoff game in his young career so far he's practically unbeatable and bill belichick is pretty good at solving the other team's offense with all sorts of defenses besides last year was a down year for the patriots

Hmm... possibly. They have to work hard for it and should blow out each team they play ,so we can see the Patriots that we saw a couple of years ago who went to the Superbowl 3 times in a row with superlative work!

Sorry, but no. They will make it to the post-season, but I think it's going to be San Diego and Chicago in the Super Bowl this year.

No way, too many good teams in the AFC. They already lost to the Colts and the Broncos. Oh, by the way, they will lose this weekend to the Bears.
