I turned a report into the police about 10 times. They finally went to the states attorney and a subpenoa is being issued to verizon to present the phone records of the unknown person who is calling me. He is very sexually explicit and I finally just stopped turning my cell phone on. I am scared.
I dont know who it is until verizon does there part and last nite, my dog went crazy barking and I could hear someone ruffling around in the leaves outside of my house. I am afraid to go to bed at nite and I feel like someone is looking in the window at me although I am so freaked out, I could just be paranoid.
How long do you think this process takes and what do they do to the person who is callling me?
I feel ashamed and dont really want to talk to anyone about this. I am afraid I will know who is doing it which will make matters worse.

Currently, I have no clue who is doing it, and whoever it is never calls me by my name, He starts in by saying "can I ask you something" and then on and on and on. He was masturbating the last times he called me and aske me to listen and on and on. I just really would like for it to stop and I feel like verizon is not doing me any favors. I think he should have his phone service d/c'd. I am not even sure if he is calling from his home phone or a cell phone.

I'm not sure what else you can do except to try & protect yourself. Remain aware of your surroundings & use caution. If you need to talk, or someone to listen, email me. I know what it is to be scared & have experience in a similar situation.

i think you're making this all up because you can't report any prank calls to the police first of all. second, it's a cell phone, the cops would tell you to change your number. how do i know this? im a cop and ive had several people call my office about this sorta situation. we cant do anything about it. just change your number. we cant do anything if anyone is threatening you over the phone unless they have a motive.

Talk to the police and find out if a detective has been assigned to your case.
Talk to the detective about your concerns, and ask if the police can drive by your house at night to check on your house.
Once you find out who it is get a restraining order, and testify when it goes to trial.
It sounds like you know who might be doing it, tell the detective your suspicions.
