Sadly you'll just have to allow the sore throat to heal on it's own, but a good way to manage the pain is clove tea. Just put some cloves in a pot of boiling water (with cinnamon, mint, or whatever spices/herbs you want) and boil for about 10 minutes. Then strain and add some honey. The cloves help numb your throat, temporarily ridding the pain as you drink it. I do it all the time when I have sore throats and it works wonders! :)

You might think this doesn't work, but my mom gave it to us kids and I use it too. I am a firm believer BECAUSE it works.
Squeeze a glass of grapefruit juice, add (not too much because it will bubble over the rim) 1/4 teaspoon of baking soda for a large glass, and if it doesn't bubble enough just slowly add a tiny bit more, until its like beer, oh this feels so good to your sore thoat and I believe helps get rid of it too. And if the juice is cold it feels even better!

Salt water gargle works, so do hot tea (green tea and mint teas works best) with lemon and honey, no sugar as it can irritate the throat lining, you can use Ricola throat drops as they are mostly natural, or you can chew white willow bark or use willow bark extract.

I use black tea and honey, with a squirt of lemon juice. Or if you don't have the tea, just boiling water, lemon and honey. Lemon tea also...
Can you tell I like lemon?
Anyway I have also heard that tootsie rolls help. Just suck on them, and they'll coat your throat. Yummy solution if you ask me!
