That was priceless! Rosie just because you are a lesbian does not automatically make everyone who is not , fearful and hateful of homosexuals!!!

I believe Kelly Ripa handled that wonderfully.

I did and I loved every minute of it. Rosie always has so much to say when she don't know sh--. Everyone to her is hiding that their gay when their not (Oprah and Gail), or they should come out publicly about things in their life (Star Jones Reynolds), or that people are making "homophobic" comments about gays (Kelly Ripa). She need to worry about her own life and about her own insecurities instead of focusing on others. I would of checked Clay and anybody for placing their hands over my mouth. Specially when you're shaking everybody hands and you don't know what going around. Rosie got told and I give props to Kelly for letting her know what's up. Also, Clay never came out publicly and said that he's gay, what makes Rosie think that it's her place to do it? See, all up in other people's business. People don't always want every detail of their life in the public eye.

Well, I just saw it on the View and I saw the "incident" and Kelly's reaction.

I think Rosie did have a good point that if it had been someone hot or someone who didn't have their sexual orientation questioned, Kelly's reaction would've been very different. . .

It did look a little homophobic. I am not a lesbian, and when I saw it for the first time, I thought Kelly over-reacted just a bit. I'm not saying it was for sure homophobic b/c only Kelly knows. The reaction may have been b/c Kelly thinks she is 'above' Clay, but again, who knows for sure?

I am not a Clay Aiken fan, but I was always a Kelly fan. I will continue to like Kelly

As for the reaction to Rosie-- well, I love Rosie and she had the right to say what it looked like to her. I don't remember Rosie ever saying that anything was homophobic before, so I think Kelly was wrong to accuse Rosie of saying that

Well, that's my 'view' LOL

NO but now I want to see if it's on youtube.

I heard about that whole thing. Rosie is so overbearing.
