I am in no way excusing what michael richards did he is a bad person. But comics like sinbad, carlos mencia, chris rock, and a handful of more comedians make fun of white people all the time. If a white person were to say some of things mencia or rock says they would labeled a racist. AND I AM NOT TALKING ABOUT USING RACIAL SLURS IN THEIR ACT! I am talking about when rock or mencia generalizes white people. If a white comedian generalized hispanics or blacks the way rock and mencia do they would be labeled a racist. And don't answer that mencia and rock only generalize their own people cause the generalize every race. There is a double standard in comedy. By the way Kramer is should have a pitchfork up his butt.

Perhaps they are basing their acts on everything and they leave no group/faction unturned. I don't think the color of their skin has anything to do with the type of comedy they perform.

And thats all it is "a performance" in which they give themself carte blanche permission to dis on everyone. Maybe your just focusing too much on the race thing.

There have been plenty of white performers who have based their acts on just what you say is lacking nowadays.

A couple are Carlin and that dude that screamed really loud ya know his name Sam Kenison. Just think of all the white comedians............. hey wait a minute maybe thats the problem there aren't racists in comedy there is a severe lack of white comedians.

Start a campaign and get those white boys out there so there can be equal representation in insultation of all the people with liberty and justice for all!!!!!!!

HE HE There should be a UNION!!!

................think about it..................

Because comedians like that think they are better,
I heard about Kramer this morning,he must have something up there.
Comedians like that may say things racist comments and that is fine but they better have a lot of money to compensate to the victim ( lawsuit. )

As bad as his comment was what about towards the end of the incident when they called him a "Cracker" and a "F**cking Whiteboy" And I havent heard anything about their apology's for their racist remarks yet..

It's a double standard! The fact that rappers say the "N" word (No I don't use it!!) all the time!! And you hear all these little hip hop clowns refer to themselves as it again every other word...I have no problem with the fact that he snapped and called them something they probably refered to themselves as all day long anyway....It was the comment that precipitated it

"If it was 50 years ago you'd be hanging upside down with a fork in your a*s" That blew my mind...

Something like that just doesn't roll off your tongue unless you've thought about it before..That was unbelievably offensive and crossed every line there was to cross in my mind!! The dudes career has been dead for years. So I can't even say he buried himself with that comment...But he sure let people know where his mind lies..He's racist no if's ands or buts about it

very stable question. for my section i think of that contained in the previous the white guy has been so guilt ridden by making any racial comments or overtones. mutually as racism should not be tolerated by all of us, the white guy has been made to appear like the main racist man or woman on earth. Our government has made a element to maintain the divided line between whites/blacks/hispanics. once you pay attention to the information this night and you pay attention of somebody being shot or overwhelmed or raped, pay attention to while they say "It became right into a 40 seven year previous black guy (or white guy or hispanic guy for that count number)." can we would desire to nicely known what race the attacker became into? Will this help us and enable us to sleep at night understanding what the exterior shade the attacker has? that's all propaganda. that's yet differently for super brother to maintain you under his administration. concern.....the terror of something outdoors of your very own hassle-free will reason dislike and hate.

Do you even know who George Carlin is. He is very controversial and also hilarious. You should check out some of his shows. He generalizes all races also and his own. Also, there is one comedian who is white and has ethnic puppets he uses in his act. I think it is John Dunham. He is funny too.

Because when told in the context of a comedy show it is implied that the comments are not to be taken seriously.

dane cook has a joke about the way mexicans and blacks fight. sarah silverman has jokes about black people and even said "the N word."

it's not a double standard. look, fat comedians tell jokes about fat people. disabled comedians tell jokes about disabled people. chinese comedians tell jokes about chinese people. as for white jokes, well i'm not offended, so how bad could they be? us white people are laughing at them too. they're obviously not racist jokes.
