House
To see a house in your dream, represents your own soul and self. Specific rooms in the house indicate a specific aspect of your psyche. In general, the attic represents your intellect, the basement represents the unconscious, etc. If the house is empty, then it indicates feelings of insecurity. If the house is shifting, then it suggests that you are going through some personal changes and changing your belief system.
To dream that you are cleaning your house, signifies your need to clear out your thoughts and getting rid of old ways. You are seeking self-improvement.
If you live with others in your waking life, but dream that you are living alone, suggests that you need to take new steps toward independence. You need to accept responsibilities and be more self-reliant.
To see an old, run-down house in your dream, represents your old beliefs, attitudes and how you used to think or feel. A situation in your current life may be bringing about those same old attitudes and feelings. Alternatively, the old house may symbolize your need to update you mode of thinking.
To see a new house in your dream, indicates that you are entering into a new phase or new area in your life.
To dream that your house is broken into, suggests that you are feeling violated. It may refer to a particular relationship or current situation in your life. Alternatively, it indicates that some unconscious material is attempting to make itself known. There are some aspects of yourself that you have denied.
To dream of a haunted house, signifies unfinished emotional business, related to your childhood family, dead relatives, or repressed memories and feelings.
To dream that a house disappeared, indicates that you are not feeling grounded. You feel uprooted by a particular circumstance or relationship in your life.

The way you state this issue is interesting: you say "Every time I dream about a house..." One of the questions I would have is how often you dream about a house, this house and what happens in the dream.
Although it is not always true, most dreams about things, such as a house where you lived, represent something other than this house. What it represents is tied to you in one of several possible ways. For what it is worth, using these on-line dream interpreters is about like using an on-line translation program. You might get something accurate or nearly accurate but how can you tell? Several people have suggested good starting points but it would take a person who has experience in dream counseling to make a good assessment. This would involve asking questions and finding more about your dreams. I suggest you consult a professional psychologist who has expertise in this area.
I would suggest that the meaning of it is certainly tied to your perception of your self. Perhaps it is, as one suggested, tied to something in your past which you are turning away from. On the other hand, exactly what your relationship is with your house is the key to further interpretation. Sometimes Freud and Jung are spot on and at other times, it takes some talking to find the answer. Do not be fooled by falling for the first thing that makes sense.

Dreaming about a house usually means dreaming about your physical body. If it's your old house then perhaps you feel that 6 and a half years ago you were in better health, you were fitter and happier. I think it is really to do with your physical health. You want to be like you were back then. Did you give up exercising in the past 6 and a half years? Has your health turned for the worse? Are you developing a small illness like an allergy that you didn't have before?

In dreams your inner-self is symbolised by your house/home. You dream about a house that you lived in over 6 years ago, this could mean that you have unresolved issues that happened around that time,i.e where you happier then? or did something happen that you have been trying to forget and that needs to be dealt with. If you think about this you might be able to work out what it is. If you do work it out I guarantee that you wont dream about this house again. Hope this helps

A house in a dream usually represents your body.So you must ask yourself is the house broken.Have some things about it changed. Are there ghosts in the dream. You should have gave more information about what your doing in the dreams and things you noticed about the house for a good interpretation of the dream.

The house is always on your mind maybe. They say we dream what we have seen, heard, read or experienced in life, and cannot dream what we have not. A dream tries to make sense of all our jumbled up thoughts.

I think we just dream about where we regard as home. I have dreams involving people and loved ones in my life right now, but set where I grew up. I haven't been there in nearly fifteen years! I think it must be where we feel secure.

dreams are really the way the subconcious releases anxiety.
so you may have open issues to do with the pas you need to deal with.
go back to the houseif possible then that may trigger why you feel unresolved about it.
otherwise just talk about the house it will come out.

On the contrary, your desperation will drive you top marry. This is a very common dream you will be glad to know. Your swift arrival to the church is an indication of how quickly you will meet your partner.
